At Twinflame, every piece you see starts with an idea, a conversation between Karen and I. Our style? Sexy but elegant, with that effortless “day to night” vibe. We love designing pieces that make you feel powerful and confident, whether you're running errands or heading out for drinks.

We’re super hands-on with everything we create. It’s just the two of us behind the whole process. We don’t pick styles from factory catalogs like some brands do. We start from scratch, from the fabric and fit to the tiniest details like the buttons or where the label goes. Every decision is ours.

The process takes time. From the first sketch to the final piece, it usually takes between 3 to 5 months, and every step counts. We work between Paris and Portugal (our amazing factory is there!), which means a lot of video calls, a lot of prototypes, and a lot of excitement when we finally see the real thing.

So if you’ve ever wondered what goes into creating a Twinflame piece, keep reading, we’re walking you through every step of the journey.

Step 1: The Design

The design process is definitely one of our favorite moments, it’s when creativity flows and we just let ourselves dream, without thinking (yet) about production limits, budgets, or technical issues. That part always shows up eventually, but in the beginning, it’s all about inspiration.

Everything starts with the idea of the new piece we want to create. We have such similar taste, it’s actually kind of wild. We’ve bought the exact same things without even telling each other, and we’re constantly talking about fashion, beauty, lifestyle, personal growth... literally everything. Those conversations are where our creative process really begins. We’ll be sending each other images, TikToks, old campaign videos, and suddenly something clicks, that spark of “what if we made this?”
