Lisa: Lip masque by Wonderskin & Lip tint by Rhode
These two are officially part of my daily lip combo, and I’m obsessed! The Wonderskin Lip Masque in "Lovely" is seriously the best for that natural, long-lasting tint. And the Rhode Lip Tint in "Toast" pairs with it so perfectly—it keeps my lips hydrated and glossy without any of that sticky feeling.
Karen: Bisou Balm by Violette
This lipstick has been my absolute favorite this year! I love how it’s matte but still super hydrating. The color is buildable, so you can go as bold or subtle as you like. My go-to shade is Bêtise, a gorgeous berry/red. I always pair it with Charlotte Tilbury’s lip liner in Iconic Nude for a fuller pout.
Body Care
Lisa: Dry brush by Aime
I got a lymphatic drainage massage this year, and while I was talking to the masseuse about struggling with cellulite, she recommended sticking to a dry brushing routine for amazing results. I’ve got to say, I actually love doing it in the morning after my workout now. I used to hate dry brushing because the bristles were always way too harsh, but discovering the Aime brush changed the game, it has super soft bristles, and it’s so much better. Just remember, dry brushing is done on dry skin, and you always want to brush towards your heart!
Karen: Hydra Mousse by Tan Luxe
Every now and then, especially in the summer, I love to fake tan—but it can be such a hassle with all the sheet-staining. That’s why I love the Water Mousse by Tan Luxe. It’s super easy to apply, gives your skin a hydrated, glowy look, and you can slip into bed without worrying. The color is nice and subtle, so it’s perfect even in the winter when you just want a little extra glow.
Tip: I always use a mitt for a flawless application & I use the Drops for the face by Tan Luxe
Skincare
Lisa: Everyday lotion by Supergoop
I don’t need to remind you that wearing sunscreen every day is non-negotiable, right?! I’m obsessed with this one, and there’s a specific reason why: I’ve dealt with perioral dermatitis in the past, and this sunscreen is my holy grail. Anytime I have a flare-up, it calms my skin down within 30 minutes, and the little flare-up just disappears.
Karen: Beta Panthenol by SOME BY MI
One of my favorite discoveries this year has been the Beta Panthenol Moisturizer from Some By Mi. It's so hydrating and gives my skin a gorgeous glow without feeling greasy at all. Plus, it works beautifully under makeup!
Hair Care and Styling
Lisa: Hair+Energy supplement by Jshealth and Rosemary oil by Mielle
Ever since I went through hair loss, these two have become my daily staples. I’ve been taking the JSHealth Hair + Energy supplements every day for the past 5 months after seeing those insane before-and-after pics on their Insta. My hair’s been growing back shiny, soft, and so full! Just a heads-up, you’ve gotta stay consistent with it; it takes at least three months to start seeing results. And for the Mielle Rosemary Hair Oil, I use it as an overnight mask twice a week. Rosemary is amazing for stimulating hair growth!
Karen: Xtra Large Bombshell Volumizer by Color Wow
I simply cannot do a blow dry without this product: it thickens my hair, adds so much bounce, and makes my blow-dry last so much longer.
FASHION
Jewelry
Lisa: The Lisa diamond necklace by Mon Pilar
Not only does this necklace have my name on it, but it’s also the perfect everyday piece as it goes with every outfit! The Lisa Diamond Necklace is 14k gold with a 0.25ct diamond, so I know it’s a piece that’ll last forever.
Karen: Heaven Mayhem & Idyl
I’ve added so many new pieces to my jewelry collection this year, but the two I keep reaching for the most are the Estelle and the Power Ear Cuff by Idyl, they are perfect for daytime. For evenings, when I want a statement earring, I’ve been loving The Bunch by Heaven Mayhem.
Bag
Lisa: The Friday bag by The Attico
This Attico bag is my most-used bag—it’s perfect for going from day to night, and for a small bag, it actually fits a lot! Plus, the price point is amazing for a designer piece.
Karen: Le 5 à 7 by Saint Laurent
I’ve been wearing this bag nonstop again—it’s such a timeless piece with beautiful quality, and it works perfectly whether you’re dressing up or keeping it casual.
Shoes
Lisa: So nude by Aquazzura
I got these as a birthday gift since they’ve been on my wish list for years, and let me tell you—they did not disappoint. They’re so timeless and classic, they go with literally any outfit. Plus, the fact that there’s no ankle strap makes your legs look extra long. Now I’m thinking I might need a nude pair too!
Karen: The Liz Lace Up Sandals
These are the perfect high-heeled strappy sandals to pair with any night-out look!
WELLNESS
Lisa: The Burning Bar
I’m obsessed with going to the Burning Bar for hot Pilates classes. My fave instructor is Dan, he’s got the best playlists and killer reps!
Karen: Lymphatic Drainage Massage & Lagree
This year, I tried a lymphatic drainage massage for the first time, and it’s now my go-to whenever I’m feeling bloated or when my body needs a reset. The results are amazing—both immediate and long-term! I can’t recommend it enough. You can book your session here with Camille in Paris.
Soins Renata Franca by Camille, 3 rue d’Alexandrie, 75002 Paris
Another game-changer for me has been Lagree classes. I started this new discipline late in the year, and I’m obsessed! It’s a super effective workout, slow movements that will give you the shakes right from the start. I’ve loved taking classes at Silo with Karima and Lisa.
Silo, 33 Bd Malesherbes, 75008 Paris
Habit
Lisa: A set morning routine
I’ve always wanted a morning routine but could never stick to it, but that’s totally changed since September, and now I love starting my day this way! I go through a few steps:
Workout
Dry brush
Savory breakfast
Supplements
Meditation
Journaling
I love knowing that if I get through all these steps, I already feel accomplished before my day even begins. Plus, it’s such a great time for myself and a little self-care love!
Karen: Meditation in the morning
Since the beginning of November, I have started adding this new habit: I wake up, drink some water, take a shot of olive oil and lemon, and then meditate using the Insight Timer app. (You can check out more about it in this vlog!)
ENTERTAINMENT
Book
Karen: Authority Gap by Mary Ann Sieghart
The subtitle of this book says it all: “Why women are still taken less seriously than men and what we can do about it.” The author dives into an insightful conversation with one of the most powerful women in the world. I highly recommend reading Invisible Women by Carolina Criado Perez first, as the two books complement each other perfectly. While it might feel like women’s place in society has improved, these books show just how much work is still needed but they also offer hope by highlighting the solutions.
Podcast
Lisa: Pia’s Pod - Life with Marianna - Beyond the mat
Podcasts are now a part of my daily routine! Whenever I’m walking somewhere alone, I throw one on—it’s like having a girlfriend chat with me, and I always learn so much. Here are my faves: Pia’s Pod, Life with Marianna, and Beyond the Mat. They cover everything from fashion and beauty to business, wellness, and lifestyle!
Karen: The Diary of a CEO x Vanessa Van Edwards
The best podcast I listened to this year! Vanessa Van Edwards, a body language expert, breaks down exactly how to act in different situations based on how you want to be perceived. It’s absolutely fascinating how much we communicate without saying a word! Watch it here
Film
Lisa: Anna by Luc Besson
I just watched this movie recently even though it’s from 2019. If you’re into action, I’d totally recommend it—who doesn’t love a fearless woman spy?
Karen: L’amour Ouf (Beating Hearts) by Gilles Lellouche
I loved everything about this movie: the story, the cinematography, the music, the actors. It kept me on my toes until the very end!
Tv Show
Lisa: Senna by Vicente Amorim
This was the last series I watched this year, and there’s nothing I love more than a true story. This short series dives into Ayrton Senna’s life and Formula 1 career. Loved the acting and the scenery!
Karen: Nobody Wants This by Erin Foster on Netflix
This show gave me all the feels! I loved seeing a genuinely healthy relationship portrayed for once. I was a Seth Cohen fan in The O.C. and now I am a Noah Roklov fan. I seriously can’t wait for season 2!
Travel
Lisa: Italy
My boyfriend totally surprised me with a trip to Italy for my birthday, and I got to explore all the places on my bucket list: Venice, Naples, Capri, and Positano! Italy is always a good idea – seriously, just that ticket, you won’t regret it!
Karen: Copenhagen, Danemark
My first trip of 2024 was the perfect way to kick off the year! I traveled with my dad and Lisa, and we always have the best time together. Copenhagen was covered in snow, and we fully embraced the hygge vibes. A city I highly recommend to visit! (If you haven’t seen the vlog from this trip, here it is!)
Coffee Break in Paris
Lisa: Café Fino
I go to Café Fino for the chai latte because they make it so creamy! The place is cute, but it’s pretty noisy. I like to either go there to have a chat with a friend or just grab it to go.
Café Fino, 59 Rue des Mathurins, 75008 Paris
Karen: J.K. Place Paris
Coffee shops in Paris can be tiny and crowded so when I want a quiet spot I like to head out to J.K. Place Paris. It’s a hidden gem with a cozy living room that feels like home. You can play backgammon, sip tea, and the staff is the sweetest!
J.K. Place Paris, 82 rue de Lille, 75007 Paris
Restaurant in Paris
Lisa: Ojii Perronet
If you’re feeling like dressing up and enjoying some amazing Japanese food, Ojii Perronet is the spot! It’s a bit on the pricey side, but totally worth it—great food, cozy red vibes, and an intimate setting!
Ojii Perronet, 6 Rue Perronet, 75007 Paris
Karen: Sanjo
Sanjo is my absolute go-to for ramen! I’ve been there so many times this year, and it never disappoints. If you’re craving a hot and hearty bowl of ramen, you’ve got to head over there.
Sanjo, 29 Rue d'Argenteuil, 75001 Paris
